My contribution to the Harrogate Centoaph Poppy Appeal in the U.K. (a call for 10,000 handmade poppies to decorate the town of Harrogate's downtown centotaph in rememberace of war heroes.

Happy Blue Stripe Snake

I really enjoy making snakes, but they take a loooooong time to complete. Working out the configuration of beads to create the coils is always a fun puzzle to solve. This one ended up with a kind of a grin, hence her name above. She's about 8 1/2 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. Her eyes are made from sequins and bugle beads.
